Xterior
So I figuere to try this first and see how I like it before painting the entire grill black. I used a OEM 05 STI mesh grill zip tied down. Please show your love or hate fellas. PS: Is my first time playing with bondo. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod21.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod24.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod15.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod16.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod23-1.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod10.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod4.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y183/elpapi336/Grilmod7.jpg

franklin
Looks fine. I did my own grill too. Its not an item I can see paying hundreds of dollars for from some shop. Save your money for something else. BTW I feel the same about $400 lip spoilers . Do the $20 dollar garage door seal lip.

I obviously did not give it time to dry properly but my personal time is very limited so I had to do a quick job. On the sides is still no perfect edges but it did cover the gaps. It was taken with my phone so pics sucked

nemo
good job! what did you use to hold the STI emblem on? If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.
TravisS
It was from my STI Dang. I really like that material. I just have the ol' gutter guard mesh, which looks pretty ghetto after a while (too easily bent). But it seems most grille mesh I've seen is too expensive. Xterior
good job! what did you use to hold the STI emblem on? Like I said, is a stock STI grill.
nemo
^ ahh, didn't realize that the sti emblem was attached. sorry If you don't vote Trump, out, you're a bigot who hates america.
Xterior
^ ahh, didn't realize that the sti emblem was attached. sorry Well you can take it off but is really hard. Then yoy might have to glue to the new grill. Best is to purchase the grill from subaru then buy the emblem online, the little locks that holds the emblem on to the grill is a one time use only I think.
