robot8282
I have an 06 2.5i wagon, and I've recently started craving some noise from the exhaust, but I don't have a thousand dollars to drop on an entire setup. I figured perhaps mufflers and resonator delete may do the trick, but now I'm afraid it may sound like a ricer. I know to unleash the rumble I would need uel's but again, I don't have a thousand dollars to drop. I guess my question is would mufflers be worth it or would I just end up with a screeching rice wagon? And would a resonator delete make a difference in the same regard? bomberlegacy
Just replacing the mufflers will add some nice sound and not be ricey, but removing the resonator will make it pretty raspy. robot8282
Alright cool, how much do you think i should be paying for mufflers and installation? A friend of mine just got mufflers on his silverado pick up and he said he paid close to about $400 which I thought was a bit much, especially compared to a local shop i went to that said they'd charge $250 for mufflers and install. But I don't wanna take a cheap route and end up with it looking like crap
bomberlegacy
I buy from http://www.performancepeddler.com and I like Magnaflow. You can call them to get the best price. I wanna say my mufflers w/ tips were under 250 and labor for just installing mufflers shouldn't be more than 100 '08 Legacy 2.5i - hybrid intake - delta 1000 - E85 - magnaflow exhaust
robot8282
are there specific mufflers for our cars or will any magnaflows fit?
bomberlegacy
Most will fit as long as they aren't too long. The muffler shop will be able to hang them and make em look good 14827 is my personal fav '08 Legacy 2.5i - hybrid intake - delta 1000 - E85 - magnaflow exhaust
