NewScooby
I received the Mad Dad Clarity boost gauge that I purchased from SC GT yesterday and installed it last night. These pictures do not do this gauge justice at all. I am very happy with the way that it looks with the dash gauges. The install was very easy, thanks to everyone who has posted pics of their boost gauge installs because you all really helped me out. This gauge is quick acting and very responsive. I enjoy being able to see what I have read about on this site in action. Max boost does not come on until 3rd gear and boost tapers off at redline just like all the dyno plots show. Thanks to SC GT for deciding to sell this gauge. It is just what I wanted. Anyone know what wire I need to tap into in order to have this gauge dim with ILLumination dial? andrew.anderson
The gauge looks great. I agree with AWDxBOOST that it needs to be painted in black to match the OEM interior. Here is a pic of our car with the Defi gauges. Our gauge beezle neesds painted also. http://my.prostreetonline.com/album/andersoncollectibles/gauges.jpg

TSiWRX
Looks great, NewScooby! A "finishing tip." Wrap a couple of layers of double-sided "foam" tape around the bare line where your "conduit" does not cover. This will then allow the conduit to make contact with the tape - which, itself stuck to the inner line, will then make your conduit go "all the way" to the end of your gauge/gauge cup. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
NewScooby
Thanks for all the comments:) I'm going to get to work on painting the mounting bracket and installing the double sided tape so the conduit will stay in place better. Overall I a very happy with this gauge. I love that it has no manufacturers name on the gauge, Keeps it looking OEM. Also, the gauge surround is a very good match to the dash trim around the shifter so I wont be painting that. Can anyone tell me what wire to tap in to make the gauge work with the ILLUMINATION dial? Help Please.
