StormLegacy
Just installed leather seats from http://www.leatherseats.com. Super easy upgrade! I also put on a seat heater for the driver side as well! http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2267&pictureid=10450 http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2267&pictureid=10451 http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2267&pictureid=10452

StormLegacy
I got the letters for the tires at http://www.tredwearletters.com. They look sick going down the road!
laz
Is it vinyl? ---
StormLegacy
Here a pic. It's a layered rubber compound. The middle layer of the letters block the oils from the rubber from seeping through and yellowing. Very cool company. http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=2267&pictureid=10454 That companies website: http://www.tredwearletters.com

bniez
Do the new seats have more padding/cushion than the stock ones? Just bought a 2010 and the seats are killing my lower back. Seems like there is little to no padding.

bniez
Yes, I've tried moving the lumbar, the seat and the steering wheel in all different positions.
FLlegacy
Is your lumbar adjustment working? it is a well known point of failure, but it takes all of 15 to 20 minutes to repair if you have no idea how to do it.
bniez
Yes, the lumbar does move in and out.
StormLegacy
Do the new seats have more padding/cushion than the stock ones? Just bought a 2010 and the seats are killing my lower back. Seems like there is little to no padding. No extra cushioning with the leather kit. As for the lumbar, mine doesn't come with an adjustment, but I did have to do some internal repairs to the back springs while the cover was off. I'm a bigger guy and tend to lean hard getting in and out. Nothing a few cable ties didn't fix.
dmac802
I'm thinking about upgrading my seats to leather as well, i found a cheaper option on eBay claiming to be oem. Which set would you guys recommend? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2011-Subaru-Legacy-Leather-Interior-seat-cover-/140365508322?hash=item20ae6faee2&vxp=mtr
