it probably make them jump up. statistically, unmarried individuals are a more risky insurance investment than married individuals.

I guess that's because you somehow are supposed to have less to be responsible for?

Woot! Just got my new policy. $76/month.

Of course, that could just be because my car is getting older/worth less

yeah, about that... if I put 15K miles on my car in 3 months, shouldn't I get my insurance rate re-addjusted??? cause I've basically done that already...

Dang...someone that drives more than I do.

My 08 clicked over 50k miles this month, the dealership always asks me if I am a traveling salesman.

I pay $511.73/six months so roughtly $1024 a year 26 no tickets no accidents 2008 Legacy 2.5i with $100 Comp ded and $100 Collision ded and $100K/$300K coverage and the renters insurance discount. It would be much much lower if I had a higher credit score. Which is so not indicative period. Since when did high credit scores = excellent driver? Or do they see it as you will drive your car over a cliff to get out of paying for it type deal?

Gotta love the midwest

24, male, not married, clean record, 2007 Spec.B, upstate NY, I pay $720 a year with Geico for a completely loaded policy (full collision, roadside assistance, almost everything maxed out). I switched from state farm, where I was paying almost 2000 a year. Nobody could come close to Geico's price. And they say it'll go down even more when I turn 25 in a few months.

22, male, married, 07 spec.b, northern VA, full coverage, geico since i was 15 with a permit, every discount available (took off about a third), all my tickets fell off my record 2 years ago, $830 a year.

i priced out a red 2000 C5 corvette a few months back and for me it would have been less then 10 dollars a month more then the legacy. insurance for corvettes are really not that bad, and they also get around 30mpg on the highway with a big v8.

see, I'd think it would be more than that because it's a fiberglass super car hurling its passengers down the road.

i think the vette is cheaper because there are not a lot of accidents with them yet. they just started becoming more affordable for a used one but most people still dont buy one for either the lack of space, or other personal reasons.

Nah, it's less because when every possible passengers family sues the insurance company, the vette wins. 1 lawsuit vs. a possible 5.
