im loving it

got my new winter tires on today and went out to the back roads . o m g. i love grip, my old tires were near bald.. plus this gave my car a small lift. like 3/8. need spacers... or outback shocks now..

gravel and snow are pretty different so its gonna wear those tires alot quicker

my other tires didn't make it.. the metal was showing. plus its not that the tire will where fast without snow...its the temp of the air. onces the temps are around 50 or below all the time you can put them on..... so its like about 60 most the time... here in mn

 

 

having all this grip makes me see that i need a rear sway bar.

What brand and model did you get? I had a set of Michelin pilot alpins on another car I had, damn!! Those were awesome!!

some blizacks. the guys at the tire shop said they were made in 99, interesting, best 200 bucks spent on this car yet. trail riding is fun now.

they are not cracked at all and are very soft.. maybe the tire place read them wrong. do tire have dates on them?

99 is old for tires my friend. Tires can last that long, but don't often. Last 3 of the dot will tell you the age (if pre 2000) or last 4 (if post 2000). Better than steel belt undoubtedly, just make sure you keep a close on on them for any irregularities. I find it hard to believe a tire dealer would sell tires from 99.

Especially for $200. That is pretty high for only having 1/4 of the tread left..
