Does anybody know what voltage goes to the wires, and what they are for? I'm adapting the homelink visor to my Legacy Sedan which has only two wires (ground and vanity light). I'm guessing the red is for the vanity light and orange is for the homelink, and they are all +12V, but I want to verify. Thanks, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
c_hunter Posted November 6, 2004 Share Posted November 6, 2004 You may be right -- one might be for constant 12V, the other switched to the accesory position on the ignition. I think the visors only light up when the key is turned to acc or on. I bet Homelink would be powered all the time (so you could operate it with the car off).
