Hi everyone,

I'm having an H.I.D. light problem with my 03 Legacy 2.5GT.
The right side light has a tendancy to go on and off periodically.
Either driving or still this would happen, while the left light works fine.

I installed a wiring harness but this only diminished my original problem of continuous flickering when the hids were first installed.
I've had this problem for about a year now and can't seem to figure it out.

I just want the right-side light to be like the left.
I noticed that the hids function properly on weather changes. Could this be a factor? I live in Canada so the weather isn't as bad now.

Does anyone know any solutions to my problem?

Thanks & much respect! =D

Did you get different ballasts for these HIDs? If so, have you tested them? Could just be a faulty one (which isn't very uncommon.)

I don't know if it's related but I have HID's in my JDM projectors my right side finally went out but before it did like a month and 4 weeks before it went out the light would do a flicker/shimmering lookg while it was on bouncing from white to a yellowish color.

It's been raining so much here I have not had time to pull the bulb and check the ballast to see if it went out.

I've tested them out before I put them in the car I stuck the ballast and bulbs in the freezer for 2 hours to bring it down to -13F that was 4 months ago 3 months before I had the car.
