Got my 06 Outback XT dyno'd. VF52 with stock injectors, all other supporting mods.

Recommended Posts

I have an 06 Outback XT and got 273whp and 284ft-lbs of torque with the following mods:

Vf52

EL Headers

Catless Uppipe

3" tbe

perrin tmic and inlet

walbro 255

Its a DYNOCOM dyno which reads close to a Mustang dyno I'm told. I hope to get over 300whp with injectors and an EBCS.

Here's the chart and video:

Yep, that's not bad numbers. Injectors will help a lot. IMO not that you really need them.

I'm on stock fueling and made 280awhp/300ftlbs with a vf52 catless. The car is fun to drive.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.

Makes me feel better about my decision to get a VF-52 after everyone outside the forum saying it's a waste of money vs going a bigger turbo all together. I totally could have got a bigger turbo but eventually this may become a DD again.

I've been really happy with my basic stage 2 vf52 setup. It's been over five years now and I haven't felt the need to make any adjustments to the setup. It would be easy to throw some injectors at it and retune but I don't feel the need to push it anymore and risk its reliability.

I have the 11 blade 52 making me feel like I am wasting it on stock fueling. Driving a Cruze all this time I'm content on what it will feel like running on a full tune.
