Pretty decent paint match to the OEM Liquid Silver Metallic

This week, we're going to plumb the AWIC and add the water pump and resouvior. We also need to add the TXS dual-stage MBC and Autometer boost gauge . . . as well as wire-in a fabbed fuel-cut defender into the ECU.

When all is said and done, Laurel's car should be pushing roughly the same power as my stock GT, perhaps more. Next spring we'll be adding my stock 5MT to her car, and swapping-over my larger factory brakes and wheels.

Yes. . . took it for a spin yesterday after having the midpipe shortened (blasted WRX downpipes are longer than the legacy stock ones) and it is indeed faster. . . . and we've yet to even get the intercooler working and the boost controller installed. :D

I'll have more pictures this week while putting in the last of the upgrades, and a report on the butt dyno, as well. Probably won't see a real dyno for a little bit, but when it does I'll most certainly post the dyno sheet.

 She's an only child now. And most of her female friends don't know much about cars. :D

But yes, it IS nice to be dating a girl who can certainly wrench, and knows her way around a car, and how to drive one. ;)

Good looking setup...(the car and the lady)

This setup is interesting to me as I have the same model yr. Legacy sitting in my driveway w/ a blown tranny..if I had the funds, I would do a full swap...I'm trying to decide on whether to hold on to it...or sell it to one of my friends at the local Subaru dealership...

nice project!!

A Momo steering wheel is a must!! Cheesy old-school two-spoke has to go.

You couldn't be more intuative. She actually would love to put a nice Momo wheel in there. . . something that's of a smaller diameter. There are no airbags in her car as it is (early 1992 model) so no worries there. :D

And yes. . . I'll be holding onto her just as long as possible. :)

I bought one for the CRX I used to have from Neuspeed. They had a clearance website set up for overstock and old models- APSdeal.com or something. Got it for 60% off....brand new. Let me dig around and see if they still have the site...

EDIT - almost got it right, but no longer around any more - apsoutlet.com

"Sweet car though and its nice to have a girl who can wrench"

O.K. this is all good, the G.F. and the ride are both fine, but I'm calling you on the wrenching part....her hands aren't even dirty and she's holding the rachet and wrench like a couple of salid spoons. Looks like you're the only one with greasy hands in these pics!

Admit it, the wrenching pics are posed, aren't they?
