tractorcrusher
Some of you guys should be familiar with the crowd by now. Stop by for free pizza and drinks. Last week we had 4 Porsches, 1 SC'd G35, a 60's Vette, Two Z06's, five Vipers (two of them Heffner 1,200+ hp), and a Heffner TT Gallardo (first one in Texas). Hopefully the weather is nice this coming saturday (the 12th). We usually do a cruise up and down the tollway if the weather's nice. Luigi's Pizza & Pasta 4944 Preston Road #120 Frisco, TX 75034 972-712-5850 Every Saturday 11:00AM-12:30PM. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2254/2149986118_cd3af2d632_o.jpg Link to thread: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108704

tractorcrusher
Everything will be okay I'm hoping... I've been to the chiropractor already and need to have some work done on my neck. If they don't total my car for whatever reason I'm thinking about changing up the front end a little bit. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n41/tractorcrusher/SpecB/011908%20Crash/PHOTO1.jpg

tractorcrusher
How's the car Curtis? Not looking too good... The body shop (Xtreme Collision on Plano Parkway) called me last week and said they replaced the broken motor parts and tried to start it but there's no compression. They think the rods are bent and the motor is shot. Most likely the car is going to be totalled, still waiting on State Farm to come out and finalize everything. On a side note I went to get the rest of the things out of my car last Friday, and was very disappointed with the condition that Xtreme had been leaving my car in... There was dirt ALL over the place (including the back seat which I don't understand), my center console was left wide open (with my digital camera missing of course), and all of my CD's were ejected and stolen. If State Farm tires to not total out the car I'm going to fight them to do so... My car had never been that dirty its entire life. Here's my car as it sits now: http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n41/tractorcrusher/n503955358_936187_4708.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n41/tractorcrusher/n503955358_936184_1457.jpg 4 hours before the wreck: http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n41/tractorcrusher/rolling10.jpg
Mr. Ed
damn that absolutely sucks. I hope they total it as well, it looks like you would have just one issue after another. I hate to think that those guys stole your stuff. I have talked to them a few times and they seem pretty legit and do good work. thieves will be thieves tho...... I know I won't be stopping there to get a new quote on my rear quarter panel damage... I also hate to scavenge...but by any change that they total it, do you think they would let us swap exhaust? I'd love to trade out + cash and get that cut out...and even the spec b wheels for my stock 07's in the garage. no offense...cause I loved your car ...I'm just saying if they do total it, no reason great parts should get junked;)
tractorcrusher
I'll see if they'll let me do some parts swapping... I don't think state farm will give me anything for the exhaust, but it may be difficult to do the swap in the parking lot at xtreme collision. I'm also not sure about the wheels but it won't hurt to ask. I took the floormats out of the car already, they had thrown them in the back seat so chances are they wanted to take them once the car was totalled out. I also have my stock grill that was used for 1 month until I went to the outback grill... If someone wants to buy it for cheap it'd be great for backup or a DIY grill (although I'd recommend they use theirs for the DIY grill being that mine is in perfect condition). tractorcrusher
Don't know what I'm replacing it with... I am trying to see if SOP will give me a STi to test drive for the weekend.
B4SubieGT
I am so sorry about your car. I too can relate. As a matter of fact that is how I got my Legacy. My old car that I had for 29 days was hit hard and looked much like your car at this point. Hang in there, something good will happen. If you are interested there is a '08 Spec-B for sale for $27K in Addison. Hope all is well ... Daniel PS, whatever you do (keep it or total it) file a "deminished value claim" to get about 10% of the repair cost back in your pocket.
