i have a 2007 outback and just installed a hid conversion kit and when i turn to my drls they flicker

You need to disable the DRL's or use a relay harness to get full battery voltage to the balasts.

the hids work fine as long as i have the lights fully on

just realized that deerkillers walkthrough is for 05-06. for an 07 it appears to be different... maybe read here...

ditch them and putt piaa's in. Hid kits never work right

I had to disconnect and reconnect my wiring harness at all points and apply dielectric grease as I noticed some points looked like they had some moisture signs. Also used a screw driver to make sure everything was inserted correctly. But so far its been about 6 months and no issues.

I also put the same kits on my 08 tribeca and now the cruise control liight flashes the antiskid light is on and the check engine light is on any suggestions

not true... i LOVE mine.. and they are the "cheap" kits. both kits- for lows and fogs- I only paid about $170 total. ballasts have lifetime warranties.

did you read over that one thread for the 07's? something about disconnecting 2 wires on the harness?

tribeca may be the same system, but im not sure.
