The designers at subaru did the wagon right...

with respect to using a different rear door than the sedan. Compare the beauty of the LGT wagon's window lines in my shamelessly stolen pic from Mach V Dan...

to that of the barf inducing lines of the ford taurus wagon...

Not that there is much there to save the taurus anyway.

Just some deep thoughts from a sedan owner.

My dealerships has rentals as loaners and today they gave me a Ford Taurus. What a POS that is, but the wipers sure do wipe good! :icon_bigg

But anyway, I was trying to wonder who actually buys a car liek that.

The wagons are nice, but I still <3 my sedan best.

My comment was in reference to the LGT sedan and Camry sedan.

Yeah, it's to bad, the roof rails should have been an option delete, I'll never use them.

That profile veiw is what sold me over to the wagon. The "butt" unfortunatly looks to big from certain angles, but not quite as bad as my previous 350z. Fatter tires help, but not enough.

The geezer thing is just something we wagon folk have to put up with. Like when my friends asked me if my wife was expecting after they say my new wagon....jeees.

Cute single girl to single guy (me):

"I still can't believe you bought a wagon."

Maybe one day I can convince her that we'd both fit comfortably in the back with the seats folded. I'm working on it.

Yeah, I've been told my LGT sedan looks like a Camry from the back. They have some resemblance until the stop light turns green. Then the view of the two cars changes really quickly, if you know what I mean :icon_bigg

American's hang-up with cars projecting their image has got to go. We bought Subarus because we don't want to run with the pack. Nothing better than flouting convention with a slick wagon (which helps me haul a ton of stuff).

Haha I saw one identical to that pic last night that had missed the entrance to a gas station (prolly due to the snow and the fact it was an unexperienced girl driving) and hit a snally curb. There was 0 damacge to the bumber itself, but the curb was just large enough to bend something underneath it to cause the airbags to go off. Needless to say, I definitely had a good laugh.

As for what you said, yes, Subaru definitely knows how to do the LGT wagons right (I love the BG wagons like the '97 GT wagon), but they still managed to screw up the Impreza wagons with the add on window strategy.

JDM'd All to hell

Thanks Jimmy @ Hkc-Speed.com!

RIP Coxx & Thanks

I think from front and profile the wagons look better, but from the rear the wagon loses.

Plus wagons are for geezers and milfs.

Watch your mouth, Vahkil. Without Wagons and Outbacks, there won't be anymore Subarus. These models kept them above the water even before your time.:icon_bigg:)

Be thankful to those models.:icon_tong

I agree- I'm usually not one to run with the pack. I couldn't care less what people think of the choices I make as far as what I buy. But I do find myself really enjoying the Mercedes owners giving dirty looks at my signal mirros
