PGT
Wilwoods don't have dust seals, correct?? Means frequent rebuilds...not a big deal though.
PGT
http://www.scoobytuner.com/images.sized/19.jpg $2400 for front and rear from ScoobyTuner.
PGT
Actually, $2400 is a steal for 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears. Cobb's offering is almost double that (and only 4 piston in front)
whitetiger
do they fit under our rims or do you have aftermarket rims?
edmundu
Carman493, Congrats on the brakes! Now get those pics up!
RobY
The only thing i dont like about these is that they lack dust seals. Alot of people on the WRX forums comment about these needing to be rebuilt every 10-15k. It's a great track setup but for the street I rather get somthing a little bit more maintainence free. JBLU24
I called scooby tuner a few weeks back asking and he said he'd get back to me regarding fitment.......... +1 on the 2400 being a steal- notice he said Front AND Rear !

Cobb's offering is almost double that (and only 4 piston in front) I know it's a steal, but 2400 is a looooooooooot of money as well, comparing you can get a huge power upgrade with that amount, FMIC, DP, UP, Pulleys, Pro tune, etc...  And then you will need to upgrade brakes, cause you are going to be a stupid power monster who cannot stop....  It all comes down, when you start modding, it's a galatic dark hole, no bottom, as we say!!! heheheheeheh Flavio Zanetti Boston, MA
PGT
heck, I could outdrive the stock brakes when the car had 100 miles on it and no mods. A little scary that some people are pushing 400+ HP and using stock brakes.
BOXRPWR
A little scary that some people are pushing 400+ HP and using stock brakes.  ain't talkin bout me. got RB front BBK and rear RB rotors, Hawk pads all around, braided SS lines.

nKoan
Ooh, special Flexo BBK. Or do the 6 piston ones not bend as much as the 4 pistons?
sgt
Some wilwoods have dust boots and some dont. Im pretty sure that the billet SL6 caliper used in this kit does not have them.
sandwood
the racingbrake kit for our cars is the same as their wrx bbk. means you can scout for group buys, used kits, bargains, what have you. getting out of the legacy game
dark_rex
i thought the only ones without dust seals are the perrin rehabbed wilwood 4 pots? i think those do have seals. dR
carman493
Fitment, well that requires cutting of the brake shield behind the rotor, otherwise they rub.... I'll have pics up tomorrow, we were too busy today working on all the customer's cars... Pricing..I'll have pricing for the fronts for you tomorrow...we can install them too if you like.
