Broken front Hotchkis swaybar

So I bought my LGT in 2010 with 60k on the clock. On Tuesday, 7 years and 121,000 miles later, I drove home from work. As I was turning into my driveway, there was a loud bang in the front end. I got out and looked under the car to see what I could see, and nothing looked out of place. I pulled back out into the street to hear if there were any new noises, and indeed, there was a hell of a rattle/grinding sound any time there was anything resembling a bump. I parked it, and didn't have a chance to get under it and see what was wrong until today. That's when I saw this. I've never seen this happen before. I've put a lot of miles on a lot of aftermarket sway bars, and have never had anything resembling this happen.

Long story short, I'm in the market for some new bars. Has anyone had problems with the Whitelines? I had them on my 240sx, and they were great.
