Oh yeah, but it will take like 5-6 events before it presents.

Wow... any pics of that? Curious to see where they crack from, and how they crack. (Engineer on this end, who loves to see data!)

I have no pictures, but they look a bit like this

Except that I change them before the large cracks, I get the small spidery cracks you see there.
But it looks basically like that except without that one large crack.
Is only fronts.
This seems to happen to a lot of tracked LGTs, and is the "real" problem with the LGT brakes.

Happens on all of them as far as I know (I've asked).
The consensus seems to be to buy cheap blanks too keep costs down as expensive rotors don't seem to help.
Whats funny is the LGT rotor is massive, bigger than the (heavier) STI. I dunno.
For what it is worth, I run XP10s (1650+F), and I'll get near the fade point, I brake pretty deep. Easier braking might have less issues.
And yes, I do all sorts of cool down stuff.

Wow... way cool. Might be time to consider "exotic" materials for your brakes, or do as you are already doing - replace them with cheap blanks more often!

Do you have brake ducts or anything like that? Not sure if they'd help or hurt, but you may try addind (or removing) them to see if it helps. Overcooling can cause stress fractures like that, as can overheating...
