body kit question

Recommended Posts

Ok before I start this I want to say no name calling b.s. this time I was right last time a asked a question about a impreza legacy swap.

Ok I am looking for a full body kit for my 98 legacy gt. The one for my car from vis is $930 + s/h and I found one for the 98 impreza that's $530 + s/h and want to know if with little mods to it will it fit or not. It's the 1998 Subaru Impreza ViS Racing Viper Body Kit.

Now like I said don't call me an idiot for asking its just a question

Swag, I bought the bumper off of a Subaru guy that had a 2.5 RS. He had originally bought that bumper for his 2.5RS and just sat on it for 3 years. The same with the MORETTES. I have no clue how long the owner of the brand new hood let it sit in storage.

I'll try to get the name of the brand of that front bumper because I'll tell you it is perfect for a FMIC air flow.

Ok, Swag here you go. The aftermarket bumper says it came from a place called:

Extreme Dimensions Inc. The phone number listed on the plastic wrapping is

1-888-611-aero

The part # for this bumper I have in the photo above is

97SIMPCSFB

It's made of Duraflex.

Hope that helps.

Here are a couple of other Lego's that have that same bumper, only

with a different lip on it:

I think the RFRB grill is the best solution to go with this front bumper for the reason that it is a straight line across from side to side. Any of those weird "unibrow" grills and you can see where things are not perfect on the bumper. As per that white Lego in the photo up top where the bumper looks saggy.

It's not Fiberglass that's for sure. I'm not very familiar with Duraflex but it has all of the markings on it from Extreem Dimensions Inc. I'd be very surprised if a person went to great measures to make a fake bumper then fake paper work and fake plastic wrapping that say's the company's name all over it. Maybe they changed the part numbers over the years. The guy has been sitting on that bumper for years...

I'll get it put on soon.
