AZP Installs Posted April 5, 2013 Share Posted April 5, 2013 It's official! You guys have been hearing us talk about going to the track for 10 years every time you come to the shop. We finally decided to setup a private track experience catered for the complete NOVICE running anything from a stock car up to a well modified one. Novices will have a mentor for the day and will get 3+ hrs of track time including a Track walk given by Aaron Povoledo who is a professional Grand-am and World Challenge Race Driver and Track Coach. Requirements: OPEN MIND, ready to absorb all the knowledge you can Snell M Rated Full Face Helmet Safe Car (Plenty of tread, plenty of brake pads, no bad wheel bearings, etc) The day will start with a drivers meeting and track walk, then there will be classroom and track sessions for both Novice and Advanced drivers. We are limiting this to 45 novice and 25 advanced drivers. We are working on getting Parts Manufacturers (Kartboy for one) to have us do some giveaways and we will have some AZP prizes as well! You will get addicted to going to the track after this event! Will confirm and sign-up @ AZPTrackEvents.com as a 'novice' within the week. Since its a Wednesday, what hours should we target? While we will get 3hrs +/- of track time, our cars and bodies can only handle about 30 min at a time. We will also have about 2hrs of classroom sessions mixed in between track sessions as well. This looks like a great event. I'm not comfortable taking my LGT to the track at this time and my "fun car" is in pieces at the moment. Hopefully if you do another event I'll be better prepared.
