AVO Gauge pod = Black tar/Adhesive all over

BLACKonBLACK Limited

Recommended Posts

So since day 1 when I installed my AVO dash mounted POD I have had problems with it sticking and unsticking when it wants (usually weather dependant)

Well now my A-pillar is cover is rewend.

I tried some double sidded tape i had laying around, but it was to thick and left a gap between the pod and the pillar.

What did eveyone else use?

should i just get some ultra thin double sidded tape?

oh yea

WTB driver side A-pillar cover.

thanks,

'goo gone' will get most of that crap off your a-pillah. be patient. Use a toothbrush if you have and old one laying around. Worked OK for me.

Yeah... but goo gone will also remove the adhesive that is holding the fabric to the A-pillar. Trust me... I know... :(

I had to re-glue my fabric on the a-pillar and the spay glue left a spot that looks kinda wet.

haha my a-pillar has the black stuff ALL over it.... and its gone into the pores of the a-pillar.

I'll give it a shot but most likely will be posting a WTB soon.

Thanks for the advice guys.
