GTEASER Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Apparently ATE Super Blue is being recalled by the manufacturer because it is BLUE, therefore making it not compliant with FMVSS 116 that requires brake fluid to be clear to amber in color. Us Americans and our paternal governmental system don't want anyone to accidentally put the Super Blue in the radiator, ya know, cuz blue=water. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchResults.action On the bright side, ATE will now remove the blue dye from the their excellent brake fluid and rename it "Super Not Blue" with fine print on the package reading "....cuz stoopid mericans".
