Aftermarket receivers - show them here

Thought it might be interesting to start a collection thread showing what aftermarket receivers people chose and why. I just installed a JVC KW-R900BT in my 2011. Picked this one because I didn't need nav or a DVD monitor, but wanted Bluetooth as well as the time correction audio processing and other functions. Colors are fully customizable.

I'm using the Metra 90-degree kit supplied by Crutchfield. I like it better than I thought I would, but I might try the angled mount sometime down the road. I also tucked the Bluetooth mic inside the left lower dash, right behind the slits just to the left of the center console... works great, and invisible :)

A few cellphone pics:

Nice! how did the install go, was it pretty easy? I'm doing the same thing as you, but attacking from the other end...I have replaced my front door speakers, rears and HU are next. Replacing the speakers made a HUGE difference in sound quality, I can't wait to hear it when everything is replaced!

With the exception of the friggin' antenna harness that wouldn't budge, this was one of the easier installs I've ever done. Just make sure you either use plastic pry tools or LOTS of masking tape on the front trim... that brushed plastic will scratch is you look at it wrong.

I put in a Sony XAV72-BT 7" touch screen in my 2005 LGT Limited wagon.

It was installed in the place where the cubby was located. The computer there was moved to where the ashtray and lighter were located. There is still work that needs to be done to the molding around the face, as well as hooking up the Mic for bluetooth, but that'll get done during the full system install. Had to trim the cross-member running through the dash to get it to fit in there.

The stock deck is still in the car, but not hooked up to any of the speakers.

Sweet! It's interesting seeing the different things that the cubby becomes, as my 5th Gen doesn't have that.

KSpan, could you tell me what wiring harness you used, Crutchfield sent me the wrong one and I'm having trouble identifying exactly which one I need...

According to their manifest, looks like it was item # 120707552, description of "Nissan/Subaru Wire Harness".
