easy, when a cone is on the side pointing to the standing one, that is the way to go, when there is one like that on the left and another to the right, it's a gate. When... you know what? here:

Go to scca.org and find your region, ( never mind, I did it for you: http://www.soloatlanta.com/ ), join SCCA and get to as many events as you can. whenever possible, ask to get a ride with an instructor and listen to his points.

Well... I can't fall asleep these days. So I thought I would read the factory manual. Well I'm officially an idiot. It was right under my nose. Factory spec on the 2.5L Turbo 5eat's STALL SPEED is 3100-3500rpms! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW on the non turbo model Legacy AT, the TC stall speed spec is 2400-2800rpms.

I re-read the procedure to test the stall speed myself, which basically outlines how to torque brake the car. I noticed that they say you should do it in 2nd gear, not 1st. Isn't that worse than 1st gear? Sure, you probably hit those revs faster, but ...

+1. I launched at 3200 and I could hear everything that was not bolted down in the car jerk around. It was awesome, kinda like shooting a gun for the first time. It scares you but it's still awesome

lol well hell come spring time when the track opens back up and i get some new tires i'll have to give that a go for my first time. how the hell do you get your car not to try to creep forward though? lol just mash the bajesus outta the brakes? it seemed like if you kept trying to push higher that it just wanted to try to inch forward.
