762x39
Does any one know what procedure a Subaru dealership uses to change the ATF fluid and filter on an 05 OBXT? Is it a simple drain and fill, or is there a pressurized method involved? Aside from a trans cooler, is there any other maintenance or upgrades advised other than changing the fluid and filter? quick4dr
search is your friend, But simple drain and fill, no pressurized flush is required. filter is in drivers fender, no need to change. unless for piece of mind. I did mine when I swapped to ClimberD valve body. I replaced all my fluid and new filter. aprrox 10qts or so worth of drain and fill, and don't forget to drive around to get all the fluid from the converter. sube4me
Its got a big drain plug on the bottom. Be real careful not to fill the front diff stick right next to it. I have a 5 EAT and its a very smooth transmission.
travrach
OP, the dealer will use a transmission flush machine hooked to trans lines. It uses the cars pump to move the fluid. It pulls out old fluid while putting new in. Its not the same as a drain & fill.
