Vaders_3.0R
Hey all, I'm gauging interest in some custom fender flares for the 4th gen platform. Keep in mind this is just to collect interest. The flares will look something similar to these: http://www.racingsolution.com/subaru/wrx-02-07/exterior/subaru-wrx-rs-fender-flares-02-03.html I am in contact with the owner who would need a donor car (likely mine) and would need at least 10 people who are on board to start making a mold. The flares will likely be similar width and would continue around the entire edge of the wheel. Drop your name down below if you're interested. Sgt.Gator
For $500 I'd be all in!!!!! Nothing like a race track to find the weak points in man and machine. "Good Judgement comes from Experience. Experience comes from Bad Judgement"
shralp
I'd probably bite for $500 if fit and finish is legit

magnusonsubie
Gofast parts go faster on wider tires enabled by flares... These aren't my style of how a flare on our wagons should work. Give me a couple years and I'll have a wide body wagon done that also will go on the track to at least see how fast and how much grip it has. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

You might want to work with Sgt.Gator to come up with a solution. Between aero & a cage for rigidity, he's got a headstart on finding a higher number. Sgt.Gator
Of course the flares would have to truly make room for wider tires/wheels. Then I'd have to buy new sets of dry and wet competition wheels- tires in 255 or 275. Yikes! $$$$$ Nothing like a race track to find the weak points in man and machine. Vaders_3.0R
I think that we have the opportunity to get flares made that everyone agrees to and wants. http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4264580&postcount=256 These are a nice solution but if I am going to put time and $$ into making my car allow for wider wheels and tires I want it to have a more OEM look. Simply my opinion and take what you will from it. http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/user...log/d20120922/ I love the looks of this but that seems a little out of the ballpark as most of you realize. Something along the lines of these to me seems a little more achievable. I think with a little more aggressive look flares like this would both compliment the car's body lines as well as add functional width for adding a wider stance. http://www.topmix.com.hk/img/product/Subaru%2006%20Legacy%20CN%20Style%20Wide%20Body%20Kit_3_L.jpg http://www.topmix.com.hk/img/product/Subaru%2006%20Legacy%20CN%20Style%20Wide%20Body%20Kit_2_L.jpg Keep the opinions coming. magnusonsubie
Those that you posted on the white car appear very Audi-esk to me. I personally want something like this. But I also know these are going to be very difficult and are not a "Bolt on and cut" application. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

magnusonsubie
looks like wrx fenders were photoshopped onto a lgt If it truly is a photoshop and not a real car I will be impressed. I have a few more pictures of it somewhere but differing angles and the flares look the same everywhere. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
