powbmps
I had a Cobb short shifter from my WRX laying around so I figured I'd give it a try. As you can see the ball on the GT shifter is quite a bit larger than the WRX shifter. The shape sucks! It comes out hard and is very difficult to get back in. The procedure was not a success. Chris S. Maybe there's a fourth cat in there.
Throttlejockey
The ball is machined on the shaft, not bolted on?
powbmps
The ball is some sort of plastic and it is pinned to the shaft, similar to the stock WRX shifter. The Cobb shifter is machined, similar to other aftermarked pieces. Chris S.
