I don't think my GT has this problem. I tried it out last night after reading this thread. I couldn't get it to stutter in 2nd or 3rd gear. I did, however, notice some hesitation or surging when the car is cold and pulling in 4th gear. But that goes away as it warms up.
My car was built in mid-september. Maybe they've got it straightened out now?
