Do a compression test to rule out headgasket issues.

An air bubble can be a culprit, but so can other issues as well, make sure that the air intake under the bumper is clear of objects (some people here puts extra lights there )

A flush of the radiator and a cleaning of it to make sure that there aren't any dirt blocking the fins and therefore lowering the airflow are also things to look at.

The air flow can also be restricted if the car is lowered or if you have some cosmetic mods to the car.
