Last week, I replaced my '00 L Wagon tranny and rear diff (3.90, open rear diff) with those from a '01-02 GT model (4.11, LSD rear diff), and accompanied the swap with a Fidanza 12.8 flywheel.

This past weekend, I drove the car the "back way" from Denver to Telluride (through Buena Vista, Monarch Pass, Montrose, Ridgway) mostly 2-lane blacktop sweeping, constant elevation-changing mountain roads.

As expected, the engine winds up more quickly. The flywheel contributes a feel of always running 1,000 rpm higher but is otherwise very smooth and comfortable.
