I was looking for some high viscosity silicon damping fluid and I realized I had a bad transfer clutch sitting around. I cut two holes in it and positioned it on a beaker to drain.
What came out was pitch black, but I was expecting a clear fluid, like all the other silicon viscous fluid I have seen. Is black the correct color, or is mine contaminated by whatever happen to ruin the clutch?
Anyone know what this is and if there can be determined an MSDS on it?
By the way it takes many days for it to drain out. But I could blow some out fairly quickly with an air nozzle into one of the holes.
