Yep, I tried it when coasting to a stop with my 2012, 2.5i, CVT when it was new. Arse-end squats and you stop quick.
It's a good thing it works that way. Living in the rust-belt, sometimes you have to drive with the P-brake on for awhile to wear enough clearance to allow you to remove the rear rotors.
