A lot of cars have this coolant tube going through the throttle body. It's a basically a free intake mod you can do and most of the time you don't need a new hose just move the existing one. I've done this to my ford and my last two Hondas and never had a problem. Could I quantify it? No, it's more piece of mind that its one less thing to warm up the air going into the engine any more than it has to.
