She runs! And very well, I might add. Plenty of power and doesn't stutter or hesitate through any of the range. Tomorrow ill drain and refill the coolant (I'm sure there was some nasty residue left in the block from disassembly), do a trans drain and fill, oil and filter, and maybe top off the washer fluid if I'm feeling ambitious.
As much as I hate paying dealer prices, I splurged for the oem ATF-HP trans fluid and Subaru coolant. I figured im already $1200-1500 in, the last thing I need is a failure from skipping out in $50 worth of correct fluids. I also got their additive, which after pouring it in, realized I probably shouldn't have. Looked just like stop leak.
