^^^Truth. This prevents moisture from dripping down and getting between the heat wrap and the DP because of how they overlap. And don't be afraid of an extra layer of wrap close to the front axle to prevent the heat from destroying that.
Another note: don't pile up the wrap right at the turbo flange or tie it off there with anything (locking tie, locking wire, whatever). If you do, there's a good change you'll run into clearance issues when installing the nuts on the studs.
