How far off is your steering wheel?
You could just adjust your tie rod ends by equal amounts to center your steering wheel (as long as your comfortable doing it).
I was able to remove my steering wheel just by removing the steering shaft nut and pulling on the wheel. I didn't need a puller, although no guarantee you won't need one. (Don't forget about the airbag ...
