So my own little update....

I went and had sears do a power steering flush real quick, and the guy really worked the steering wheel back and forth for some time during the flush... It was ridiculous the amount of screeching and shuddering I know and heard it was doing. After about 10 minutes, the steering wheel moved from lock out to lock out (On the slick garage pavement) without any squealing. So definitely an improvement!

Now I still get the same little shudder in the steering wheel from time to time when making very tight turns "Parking" etc at Zero speed/stopped. But it's very seldom and I'd say 95% better! Still annoys me that it's there at all, and still makes me consider whether I should replace the pump anyway, or maybe try doing another system flush... But for now it's much better.
