there is space below the factory head unit - behind the part where the AC controls are, it at a guess looks like it will fit and as AkumaMax said room behind too, goes back quite a way. I hid all kinds of Alpine AINET boxes and Sirrius radio back there behind my 'dead' factory head unit for many years. Not sure how hot that gets but it seems to be built not to care, no heatsink or warning about leaving a gap but still, that would be my only concern... I keep real amps in the trunk.
