Yup.

Got 74K miles on OEMs by not using the AUTO light selection. 2013s may have corrected the voltage spike issues reducing bulb longevity.

There is a motorcycle company near me, Twisted Throttle, that has designed some fantastic LED beams; Denali D2Ds. The lens can be swapped for a wide-spread beam or focused beam. They are only 10W total! They are coming out with a larger light that permits the beam to be focused better.

So HIDs, LEDs, these are personal options, and LEDs are becoming affordable with kick ass performance.
