Very easy.

Remove end cap, pedal undertray (3 pop its), driver dash cover (one screw, rest just popped out), lower steering wheel cover (one screw, rest just popped out), brace for underneath driver dash cover (two 10mm bolts). OP didn't remove the brace but I did so it was easier to move things around.
Supplies used:
-phillips screw driver
-10mm socket/wrench
-about one foot total of wire I had laying around from when I wired some other stuff, one length of 10" and one of about 2"
-one butt connector
-three tap splices
-leatherman
-vice grips (for butt connector crushing and tap splices crushing)
