Make sure you either buy new rotors or have your current ones cut...you could mess up your new pads quickly with a worn or warped rotor...wasting money. You can get your rotors cut at O'Reilley's or most any parts store or machine shop...they will tell you the minimum tolerance and see if your rotors
Changing out the brake pads are easy...rotors also...go on youtube and do a search...you'll see what I mean...your concern is probably the weather there...luckily here in Hawaii we just need something covering us in case it rains.
The rule of thumb is to always have cut or new rotors when installing new pads and vice versa...
