Do you need a clutch too ?

The EJ257 is about $2100 with a gasket kit.

My machine shop buddy charged me $1200 to,
dissassemble the old long block
do some porting on the heads
rebuild the heads, I didn't need any valves
reassemble the long block from crank pulley to oil pan

I installed the FW and new clutch, intake manifold, etc and installed it in the car.

Then I met with my Tuner so he could make sure the tune was good after the 500 mile break-in.
254,000miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
