Another question on turbo replacement, with a new turbo, BNR or otherwise, will turbo failure not be an issue, at least in the way it is with a VF40?

I've read about oil line kits and the like for reassurance, and the BNR warranty. Are these necessary?

I'm interested in replacing my VF40, before it fails, but I don't want to replace with a shiny 16G or 18G only to have it fail.

Most repeated failures I've heard about have been after a previous failed turbo, if mine never fails, and I replace it, am I in the clear?
