A buddy has a ’98 Outback and few years ago he put a new better stereo in his car but kept the OEM stereo. Yesterday he gave me the ’98 radio. The old one was a salvage yard replacement for the dead one that was in the car when I bought it. And none of the lights worked. So at night there was no clock/channel display or lit buttons.
