Go to Autozone and buy a $.99 tire wear gauge. Monitor wear across the surface of the tire, and rotate tires frequently. If you start to notice abnormal wear, get it aligned. If you don't, and the car handles fine and tracks straight, then I wouldn't bother.

Remember, the dealer often suggests services for THEIR benefit, not yours.
