Every experience I've had with them produced the same result. Horribly noisy, horrible tread wear (both pattern and speed), and a generally low performing tire in the rain and snow. It looks cool, but I've just been wholly underwhelmed by it.
I probably put ~5-8k on a set I'd borrowed from a friend, and was just let down.

I agree that they are somewhat noisy but NOTHING like a mud tire. Their treatwear has been exemplary for the amount of abuse they have taken in my experience and they ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR LOW TEMPS. Not only are you not supposed to drive them in the snow, they were obviously taken out of their temperature profile and the rubber no doubt hardened.
I love my set for 20k. Too many canyon days plus a track day and they were most of the way done.
