Service departments have no affiliation with the brand they serve. They are effectively independent shops, who happen to be attached to a dealership.
SOME dealership service center technicians ARE trained by factory certified trainers, but very few are and those that are will not be the ones putting tires on your car.
Service writers might review Subaru provided powerpoints, but otherwise they are not really trained. They are middlemen to relay information from technicians and the service manager to you. They are salespeople, and little more.
