I had my Puddle Lights installed Post Purchase by a Subaru dealer. I have them for nearly 2 years now and never had a problem. I hope that by making this adaptation, it doesn't affect the performance with new outages. You know the old adage: "If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It!!!"
Where is this "fuse" to be installed? Will easy access be available or do you have to go to the dealer to change it if it blows?
BTW, I really Like this feature and glad to have added it. I did this at Grand prix Subaru in Hicksville, Long Island, NY. They were NOT my selling dealer but worked out a very nice accessory package after I took title to the 2010 CPO in Feb 2011. A very Good dealership (I had to Plug Them).
Which reminds me: Since it was a Dealer installed item will Subaru know and reach out to me for the Recall ??
