I see. The first time (also the only time) I had a speed ticket I went to a pretrial conference and the prosecutor offered to reduce this 4 points violation to 2 points with a $160 fine (failure to obey a traffic control device). Before I had the opportunity to negotiate with the prosecutor for reducing it to a non-moving violation, the impatient judge (the room was full of people at that time) asked me to make a decision on the spot. I said guilty. Anyway it ruined my clean driving record, luckily my insurance didn't go up a dime.
