I recently purchased the RS3-A also; but for my BMW.
Since the BMW has a lot more power than the Subaru, it can still break traction in snow even in 6th gear, however their snow traction HAS impressed me - especially for being a UHP all season. Not even close to a dedicated winter tire though....
I've been pleased with them so far.
