That was definitely the case for 2009 Legacys/Outbacks. It dawned on me last night that I haven't yet seen pictures of the rear or label from 2010-2011 HUs in cars with the h/k system. But I suspect those are Panaonic HUs too. I also haven't see the label on any of the h/k amps (despite a few people saying they'd send some after they removed the amp).
