Here's a couple pics to show what to do exactly with the pipe cutter. My konis are build and I couldn't figure a good way to show it on them, but I had a spare piece of pipe and a piece of aluminum lying around. Pretend the pipe is the shock body and the aluminum is the silver cap on the stock housing. You can see that you rest the outside housing of the pipe cutter against the aluminum (the silver cap). I have the Brasscraft pipecutter for reference, I think it came from home depot (~$20).
